This is where we went in
Sept. 1 was an adventure and a half. I went on a hike up the Paradise trail with my friend Miss. Beggo and we made it to the top of the mountain. We started hiking at about 2 pm ( next time we go and if any of you go leave in the morning.....or you'll be hiking back in the dark with unknown large woodland creatures lurking around you without your knowledge.) and we got home at bout 9:30pm. It was a long journey up the mountain. We had many huckleberry and photo op. breaks. There were many "We're almost there" and "Just a little bit further" echoing in the forest but eventually got about 100 yards away from the top and we just said " There's no point in giving up now, let's finish this." It was really worth it to hike all the way to the top, we ate lunch by a beautiful stream (6 pm). After lunch by the stream, we start up back toward the top of the mountain and back to the valley. We searched for rocks to add to the inukshuk. I got lucky and found a heart shaped rock and added it to the inukshuk to make it look like it has a heart. We headed down and that was an adventure and a half. First we thought we were gonna be eatin by a bear but it turned out to be a tree bear. After walking down the the ranger while yelling like retards, we were booking it down the mountain to home in the dark we came to a fork in the road in which we took the wrong turn and got stuck in a creek, but then we got out and found a place to turn around. After I helped push the ranger up the hill we went to go across the creek again we got stuck, so I jumped in the creek and tried to help push us out again. It all come down to the fact that Miss. Beggo did NOT have the ranger in 4-wheel drive. We soon got home to her dad's and told him and her sister all about our adventure in a quite high pitch voices we ate dinner and Her dad gave me a ride home.
The next two days after that were pretty harsh in the soreness and energy loss. The whole ordeal was worth it. The Lord gave us strength to make it to the top and safety to get down uneaten.
